Mucinous adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder after long-term duodeno-renal and colovesical fistula--case report.

چکیده
Primary adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder is a rare neoplasm. It accounts for 1-2% of all bladder carcinomas and sometimes may be found in the bladder diverticula. Fistula between duodenum and renal pelvis is another rarity while colovesical fistula is not so uncommon. We present a case of a 40 years old man who had surgery for colovesical and duodenorenal fistula and subsequently developed adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder.

Laparoscopic conservative treatment of colo-vesical fistulas following trauma and diverticulitis: report of two different cases
Introduction. The standard treatment of colovesical fistula is the removal of fistula, suture of bladder wall, and then colic resection with or without temporary colostomy. The open approach is more commonly used because the laparoscopic approach seems to have high conversion rates and morbidity. We report two cases of colovesical fistula treated with a laparoscopic conservative approach. We al...

Enterovesical fistula is a rare disease. The standard treatment of colovesical fistula is removal of the fistula, suture of the bladder wall, and colic resection with or without temporary colostomy. We report the first laparoscopic conservative treatment of colovesical fistula in our knowledge and i...

Colovesical fistula is the presence of a communication between the colon and the bladder, either directly or via an intervening abscess cavity (foyer intermediare). These are the most common type of fistulous communication between the urinary bladder and the bowel. First record of Colovesical fistula was in AD 200 by Rufus of Epheus. The first monograph on the case was produced by Cripps in 188...
متن کاملSigmoid adenocarcinoma with renal metastasis
We report a case of a 75-year-old man submitted to a rectosigmoidectomy and partial cystectomy because of a sigmoid cancer and colovesical fistula. Seven months later and after four cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy, a lesion was detected in the kidney. Histology revealed tubular adenocarcinoma, which meant sigmoid cancer metastasis. Kidney metastases are very rare in colorectal cancer (CRC), but...
